Former Assistant Attorney General, Fighting for You

Mr. Virga received his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida, followed by earning his Juris Doctor from the Cumberland School of Law in Birmingham. During legal education, he was chosen to represent the school on the Trial Advocacy Team, which involved competing with other teams from across the country and even winning the regional competition and taking part in the national competition.

After graduating from law school, Mr. Virga served as an Assistant Attorney General, working with Attorney General Charlie Crist, who was later elected as Governor of the State of Florida. Additionally, he focused on economic crimes, defending the rights of small business owners throughout the state. U.S. Senator Jeff Sessions chose Mr. Virga to provide legal counsel on matters before the Senate Judiciary Committee, as well as to assist in the confirmation hearings of Federal Judges nominated by the President.

At the conclusion of his public service, Mr. Virga entered private practice by working in two different law firms and representing clients in cases including family law, civil litigation and criminal defense. Since founding his own law firm, he has been recognized in 2007 and 2008 for his outstanding pro bono service in the community.
